Usually it will take about 15 to 20 minutes to completely loosen the bristles. Then you want to use these bristles to brush the sides and the top of your teeth. There is no need to use a toothpaste because the Miswak will kill all of the bad bacteria in your mouth. Also, there is no need to use a toothbrush. You can brush your teeth with the Miswak once its tip starts to turn into a toothbrush. The active chewing on it helps out a ton with your teeth. It helps your teeth to become stronger.
