I have aged gracefully but am still single. But my point of writing this article is rather hilarious. How I lied to my mother successfully in attempts to meet my future endeavors and soul mate is rather interesting. I am sure it will make you smile. So please read on.
First of all, I heard from someone that my visa was ready and I just had to collect it from Saimon Center in the city. I told Mom I was going to my Aunt’s place. Instead I took the rental car and drove to the Center and asked at the counter if there was any visa on my name. Both the persons at the counter looked confused. They asked if I had applied for the visa. I said no but I heard that my visa was ready and should collect it from here. FAILURE 1.
Next I came to know from another source the flat number where my soul mate was temporarily staying with his original family in my previous residence. It was in the same building we were staying at the time. I lied to my mother I was going to the dentist hillsboro but I was actually taking dental treatment at the time. Instead of going there, I dressed up elegantly and went to my soul mate’s flat. Another time I again lied to my mother that I still had more teeth fixing to do which was true and told her I had to take the rental car to the dentist hillsboro. I said that her daughter (my cousin) could help. She was not in but my Aunt promised she would tell her. I wrote my would be partner’s name and a group she should contact at my old residence but days went by and when I called her again, she was so indifferent that I dropped the matter altogether and didn’t tell her anything. Next I had to do minor repairs on my laptop. So I told someone to tell my soul mate’s family that I will be going to the Computer Center in the city where they could meet me. I left out the latter part from telling my Mom and only told her I was going to repair my laptop. When I went to the center, I found the shop I was looking for had a more modern look than before and asked for the man I knew and he came forward to help. They took my laptop and started doing the minor repairs while I chatted with the man, looking at notebooks and laptops and finally buying a 32GB flash drive at a cheap price. How about my soul mate and his original family? They never turned up. FAILURE 4.
This is how my days are running by and I am in a fix what to do. No marriage or going abroad signal. No clues, no signs. But when I look at the funny side of lying to my mother every time successfully, I cannot help but smile.
